And now for the next adventure....

We talked to a park ranger today and the winds we hit coming into Flagstaff that we thought were mighty breezy ended up being clocked at 80 mph gusts. No wonder the Explorer had a tough time with it. They have slowed down to the 20's for the most part the last couple days but we are expecting snow in the morning/overnight and then freezing rain later tomorrow which is why we are bugging out early tomorrow morning.
I'll have to say Flagstaff has been a great break on the trip. Not only are the people just so dang nice but the area has so much to see. We didn't make it up to the Grand Canyon with the bad weather coming in but we were there awhile back anyhow.
Off to some ghost towns in Nevada and then up to Virginia City, Carson City and Reno after that.
Hoping to check out the Extraterrestrial Highway on the way to check another one off my bucket list. The cafe has been in so many cool movie and of course the X-Files it just needs to be seen in person.
