We can see some trees!

Made it into Arizona yesterday and finally got to see a few trees among the rocks and desert. Before that it was mostly flat and boring coming across Texas and New Mexico. The color change in the cliffs and mesas went from brown to oranges and even a muddy light green.

Once we got into Arizona we could see Mt. Humphrey's peak at over 12,000' from over 75 miles away heading towards Flagstaff.

Coming across I-40 we even played tourist and stopped at a couple of the Native American shops, very nice pottery, jewelry and knives that were all made in the area.

One more state down!

Still some Route 66 attractions hanging in there.

We crossed the Continental Divide!!!
