Ohhhhh, Trains :-)

The Nevada State Train Museum is one good stop.
They have restored many and have many trains, pull cars, machinery and lots of other goodies...

Now that's a grinding wheel.

This was one of the 49 that were sent over from France after WWII to show their gratitude.

This was a bomb proof safe.

Wood stove from a train.
Notice the lip all around the top to keep pots from falling off.

This one had reversible seat backs.
Once they got to the end of the line, they would flip the seat backs so the passengers
were facing the opposite way since they didn't turn the car around.

Air vents in the came car, lots of detail for something so simple.

This was used on the tracks to pedal you along for maintenance.
The two pedals had different gearing so one would get it
started and then the second would take over for higher speeds.

This was the cloud formation on the way out, is that freaky looking or what???

Driving around Carson City

Don't see this in FL, LOL.
