The traffic in Dallas/Ft. Worth was nail biting for us small town folks, not to mention the trailer being towed behind kept us on our toes!!!
There was a nasty storm system bearing down on us with flash flooding all around, hail, tornado warnings and 70mph wind warnings. We got lucky and routed up through the middle as it split for just enough and we did fine, just some good ol' FL Frog Choker rains.
Easy Peasy with my navigator and her trusty cell phone/radar.
On the back roads out of Ft. Worth later today we were on two lane roads running by farm land and homes, all with a 75mph speed limit and it was nuts but of course fun. They don't bother to warn you of blind corners over hills and such things, LOL. Sure wish I had my Mini Cooper today, now that would have been a blast. Off to Santa Fe tomorrow and finally do some tourist stuff instead of just running and dodging.
